ANZ trying to sell insurance. I've requested an opt-out from their calls several times, personal record of request calls stop to next call is three days.

they hung up when I answered, probably spam to see what time I answer the phone so they can call me to try and sell sh*t

if they ring just tell them I need to turn the oven off and I will be back in a second, then never come back

I specifically told ANZ DO NOT try to sell me insurance as I already have TWO policies with other suppliers and they still insist on calling me from this number and hanging up (because it counts towards their call centre tallies somehow) and sending me paperwork. It totally pisses me off

they have been trying to call for a few months now, but when i've never answered it. So, freaking annoying. So, wouldn't they know by now that they are not going to get me buy their insurance? Ok, know what, next time they should call again, I would answer it and I would tell them about my pigeons business ( I'd probably spend the frist 10 minutes talking about my love for keeping pigeons as hobby and that they should try this hobby and then for the next 10 or 2 mins I would persuade them (ANZ) to buy my beautiful coloured pigeons. Hows that? And then, if they still won't give up, I would sing to them one of my favourite songs from the '80 called "Do you really want to hurt me?" by Culture Club. It goes like this - "Give me time.... to realise my crime... let me love and steal. I have danced inside your eye. How can I be real? Do you really want to hurt me? Do you really want to make me cry? " :)
