I hate how people use 'z' instead of 's' as if they live in the USA, but I rarely share this. Good grief, Bill, what a comment. Go talk to some people, I'll bet you find a few valid reasons for not answering an unrecognised call. And get back to us.

I hate how people don't answer the phone for numbers they don't recognize, what are they afraid of??

The number called my phone again last night - no response when I answered. Called my phone again today - but left no message.

This is a call center and yes it's a automated call service machine which is why you can't call them back.
Next time it calls answer the phone but do not talk just press your phone pad numbers 1-9 and repeat this 3 times , you will find the machine disconnects you , it will now identify your number as a fax number not a phone number and will delete you from the calling list...... good luck with it.

This number called my home number and, when not answered, immediately afterwards called my mobile - but mobile number is not listed and the only way that linkage could have been made is that some company I deal with has improperly passed on that information. If I ever find out who ....

I didn't receive a call from this rather an email from someone on seek claiming to be from an employment agency called Onploy and says her name is Anna. I thought it sounded very bogus from what she wrote and reading these comments about this number and in my experience (03) are nothing but annoying callers probably scamming.

Received call twice today, caller left noessage, then checked this website who called.

They rang three times in five minutes! That sure is persistent - (PESTS)

This caller hangs up when I answer and if it goes to our answering machine they don't leave a message. Very annoying.

All calls from this number divert automatically to my answering machine, please keep calling. Telstra shareholders need the money.

I always check who is calling, but no message left, so I do not care, and I do not answer. They should left message if they are OK. So, it is probably scam.

I am fed up with cold callers and other annoying calls if someone seriously wants to talk to me then leave and message and tell me who you are and I call you back!

It can't be the Alannah and Madeline Foundation. If it were a charity, they would actually ask for money. No point cold calling people and not speaking, you're only doing the charity damage when people block the number. No, it has to be some prank using their name.

This number rang me, there was silence (a good indication it's from an automated call centre which detects when a live person has answered then connects you to an operator - someone who wants money). I hung up. When I noticed the number was local I rang back just in case. It rings then cuts out.

Charities and political parties have exemption from the Federal Gov 'Do Not Call' register. I didn't answer calls from this number, but instead blocked my caller id (for mobile in Aus dial #31# and then the number you wish to call) when I called them back, but to no avail. Got what sounded like four sets of 'no progress' tone and then disconnection. To gain exemption from the 'Do Not Call' register, charities and political parties should not be allowed to retain anonymity. They should be forced to announce who they are on call back. Surely they have nothing to hide!!! Although that would allow us to more easily identify and block their numbers and thereby bypass the 'Do Not Call' exemption. What a stupid, wasteful game this all is. The only ones that really win are the Telcos.

I don't answer to numbers I don't know because I hate getting stuck talking to someone trying to flog me something. Not afraid just can't be bothered with time wasters. If it's someone I know or need to talk to they can leave a message.

This number calls constantly at home (I have even tried answering to tell them to stop calling but no-one was there) & now they have started on my mobile.
