Just had a call from this number , but I missed it. I rang it back (it looked legit) and was informed "this number is not connected, please check the number and try again"....

Had a call from this number, when I rang back this number was not connected.

Had three calls from this number in past 2 days. Always they hang up when I answer. If I manage to speak with them, I will recommend they Google their number and read this thread :-)

Constantly calling land line and mobile phone. Have caller id - do not pick up. Next time I'll try the whistle approach!

Home Owners Incentive Program... she said, asking me my marital status and what was our combined income was. I said I wont answer that, then she said, OK, so we will give you a call next year, what would be a good time?... I said "Next Year, 365 Days from now?", She said in January, I said, I don't want to be called in Jan. And she hung up the call.

So scam I would say.

I told this number they better not be selling anything as I am on the do not call register. I was then told it's an information call and that they we're from the tax department. I said that I don't believe them and that the tax dept would contact people other ways than via a random phone call. I've had no contact from the tax dept, even called ato to check. This # is a frauder for sure.

Kyle called - said he was from the Australian Home Owners Incentive Programme - tax incentives for working home owners. As "working" home owners did not apply to us,I told him that we had retired. He said "Sorry, wecalled a bit late"!!!! I am sure that if there was such a scheme, other than negative gearing, we would have all known about it via more legitimate channels.

Just another scam in action through an old Australian number in the exchange.

Same as everyone else. Hung up on answering. When I rang back Telstra said number not connected.

Just received call from number. When I answered I heard a person say hello then they hung up. Very annoying if you are sick.

Caller was talking about home incentive but not sure if real.

They said they were from Hone Owners Incentive Programme which is a Commonwealth generated programme. Who gave them the right to ring me when
we have owned oir own home for over 30 years so doe not need incentive to purchase????
