Caller: 'TELSTRA TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT' I was told that I will not have access to the internet for the next 6-8 hours. Was an Indian man claiming to be from telstra. When I said we aren't with Telstra he kept saying that Telstra are the providers for everyone. I could barely hear him, sounded like 50 other people in a large shed all talking at the same time. As soon as I said I couldn't hear him and asked why there were so many people all talking he hung up. Dodgy bastards

Caller: The Robotic Voice - Telstra Scam At least it went to VM so that I could listen to the scam. Better than being left wondering if it was legit!

It is a scam. We don't even have Telstra. Why cannot police stop this. An elderly person could panic about their land line disconnecting and get scammed.

Keep getting robotic voice calls from this number, saying our landline and internet have been compromised and to press button 1 to be connected to a technician or our service will be disconnected
