Caller: Energy Choice Not sure what they wanted, just said "No thanks" and hung up after they said where they were calling from. The number comes up saying it's in Point Cook but the caller is from overseas.

These people need to stop. If I wanted their services I would call them myself. Do not need them calling looking for business

Caller: Apparent energy company Apparent energy company offering 25-35% discount on all bills in the future. Asked what the catch was to no reply. Asked whether we had solar panels then asked our address, I just hung up. If it seems too good to be true it probably is

They have called me 4 times in the last 2 hours, the second time I answered he said he’s from a power company, and was asking for all my personal information so I hung up. He called back 20 minutes later to which I said “this is a spam call you have called me 4 times in the last hour and if you call one more time I’m reporting your number to the police as harassment.” He hung up straight away

Caller: They said they were from AGL This number called twice about 2 hours apart, firstly said they’re calling from AGL, then they said that they’re working with Alinta, AGL, Energy Aust, all large electricity companies. The guy had a foreign accent and when I asked him who his organisation is he accused me of not listening to him, interrupting him. I said excuse me you’re calling me in my own time and you are being evasive with your identity. He hung up. Scam electricity trying to convince people to change suppliers I think as others have indicated, but it’s such a sus way of doing business if it is legit.

Call from Point Cook in Melbourne Received two calls about three hours apart. On both calls I repeatedly said to take my name off their list. On the second call he kept reading while I repeatedly said stop calling and take me off the list. When he finally stopped reading I said I already received a call, and he tried to tell me no one called this morning..my call log says otherwise. He then tried to find out who pays the bills and if we had Solar. I hung up.

Rang my mobile and I didn't recognise the number, so I let it ring out. Didn't leave a message.

Electricity comparison telemarketing trying to get you to switch. Would not identify themselves until pressed. I said really not interested, then I was thanked for my time.
