got a call from this number 11 past 7pm Tuesday night. No message Adding to my block list

"Voice Talk". Indian accent, "Blah blah blah Telstra". Got very angry when I questioned what part of Telstra they were, and that I'm not with Telstra. Shouted that all she wanted to do was get me a cheaper landline and calls, told her I get free rental and calls with my internet package, got even angrier. Obviously not a real company, as a real company wouldn't shout at a potential customer.

Got one today. Very aggressive when I asked where he was from. I asked him nicely to take my number off the contact list and no more contact. He replied with. "I will keep calling you at all hours when I want" I said well I'm going to call the police for harassing me. He said "do it now and will tell him he can't do nothing about it. Ok I'll call again soon " then hung up
What can we do about these people other then blocking?

Thanks everyone. I always ask them where they got my number, tell them to remove it from their call list, then block the number anyway. I got rid of my landline to stop getting calls like this!

Claims to call about the NBN, hard to understand, blocked the number. I am getting quite a collection of blocked numbers.

material to suggest that they are investigators contracted from either a bank, police or an insurance company, and using digital feed back from the call to establish the location of who they are stalking and all this likely in a non-legal manner and as harassment that get assumes to be just market research. Calls to me have gone back to a marketing from with a central system and that way the individual caller never gets identified

Had a few calls from this number don't answer another number calls I answered once no answer if they do answer they will wish they had not

SCAM!

All a scam, they said they can get me better deals on my home phone an Internet, but funny thing is the phone an Internet is in my partners name. So new then it was a scam, also I blocked this number, an about half a dozen similar numbers, so just be aware they might call you from similar numbers.

I was in school she this number called me I asked who they where and they Rufused to answer me so I asked them where hey got this number from and hung up on me, as soon as that happened I knew that this phone number was a scam and now they are on my block list thanks guys for helping me out!

Just got a call from this number today. Indian guy saying he had a better offer than Telstra. Had my plan details all wrong so I was suspicious from the start, I let him do his spiel, "to get this deal, you will now be with Prism Telecom, so I need to set up a direct debit account" that was the rub. I said no and he just hung up.

Got three calls today from this number and last one said he could get me cheap NBN. When I said I will wait for Telstra, he said well you'll wait twelve months then and hung up on me!!

Very rude, agressive and argumentative Indian Call Centre! Block them at all costs

asked them if they are a telemarketer "no we are just offering you a deal on ..."
"so you are a person marketing via the telephone?"
"No we are getting you a better deal.."
No thank you...
Hang up and block...

I answered and they hung up. Thanks everyone, it's now on my block list :)
