I called back number (03) 8348 0996 reached voice mail but did not hear the name of the company properly.

This person called asking to verify my name - told them I was a sergeant from a police station but they kept on wanting me to confirm my name.
Knowing there is a scam asking people to say YES, I avoided that confirmation...after a bit of a telling off they hung up.

hangs up and assume just added my name to a list

called 13/5/20 10.40am, didn't answer

Caller: Yes I got the same number

I have now blocked them. click on Recents in your phone and the i (information icon) scroll down to block this caller and you can do this to any of these unknown frustrating calls :)

The following numbers I dont know & dont want to know: (02) 8608 2033, (03) 8103 7006, (03) 8348 0996.

spoke to guy, its electricity plan comparison company trying to get you to switch

Caller: ? They didn’t say there name

I just got a random call at about 7:39 pm from this number that i have know idea of who it was as it took a few minutes for the person to answer me , then the call hung up on me ...
is there any way for me to stop these random scamming calls from happening?
And will i get a reply from Reverse Australia??

He asked me about my electricity bill and when I told him I just did a comparison, he went on about how I was still in the cooling-off period and he could offer me a better deal. When I told him I've done this twice before and I spend an hour on the phone comparing rates, only to discover that you're always more expensive, the bastard then hung up on me.
It pisses me off that I didn't just hang up on him as soon as I heard the delay on the line but instead decided to give him a chance to speak, only to be disrespectfully hung up on.

Delay before they spoke, too long. They knew my name. Called back, answering message deliberately omits their name, just ".... Group,one of the leading lead generation providers" (where and for whom remains a mystery).

Stuff 'em. I won't even buy UHT Milk from Victoria, why answer a call from there? Yes I know it is really from India and it is an IP phone.
