Got a call from (03) 8325 0950. at 6.10pm Monday 25/6/18. Female caller says "hello bro, hello bro". Sounded like a pacific islander accent. Straight up anyone would know you don't start a conversation like that. I hung up.

Caller: Foxtel I have foxtel but if I want to change something then I’ll call. Tried to insist I can get the internet which I definitely can’t. Got very pushy so I said I don’t want it so bugger off. I then blew a whistle & hung up. I’d had numerous calls but these twits wouldn’t take no.

Have been contacted by this and associated numbers 2-3 times per day for the past week and have just contacted Telstra's Unwelcome Calls Team on 1800 805 996 in relation to the issue. Normally a "trace service" can be applied to these types of numbers which can lead to huge ramifications against the company involved, but this particular number is well known to Telstra as a non-existent scamming number - should you receive a call from this number, DO NOT CALL IT BACK since they could potentially charge you for the privilege. Unfortunately, all you can do is ignore or block this particular number since it is automated through the use of VOIP and there is nothing that Telstra or the government can do about it...

Received a cold call today from a hard sell person who said he represented Foxtel - a real motor mouth - who offered to upgrade my box to IQ3 as a long standing customer - then proceeded to request my personal details. Can't really believe Foxtel would resort to such marketing practices however, intend to check with them.

Thanks for this page. I didn’t answer this call as it’s a Saturday and no one from “Melbourne” should be calling me. Especially Foxtel and they don’t operate over the weekend. I will block this number and hope they won’t call again on a different number. Also they never left a voice mail.

Rang again today. Recognising the Caller ID, I didn't answer with hello but with "Boogers" instead. Went quiet on other end then they hung up after I went "NNNYYAAAHHHH" into the phone.
Hopefully they get the message and stop pestering me. They are not Real Foxtel so there's no way I'm going to give them any information.

“Foxtel” called me saying they wanted to thank me for being a loyal customer. Called me Georgia (which I am not) and asked for Kenneth (I don’t even know anyone with that name). Note I have never had Foxtel in my life under my name. Scammers! I told them to F off and hung up!

Have rang each morning for the past week, waking me up. As I work late into the night this is very annoying. I don't answer calls from unknown numbers. So much for the "Do not call register".

Very difficult to hear caller (sounds like she was in a marketplace in India !!) Said she was from Foxtel and offering some sort of bonus/upgrade. Told her I couldn’t hear what she was saying and to send me an email..... then I hung up. Sounded like a scam and no Official Foxtel email arrived.

SCAMMERS - If you are who you say you are, then you'd have all of my personal details, because you rang me you epic fool!!!
Don't answer calls from this number... Foxtel hasn't been on in my home for almost a year now and I have zero interest in having it put back on... if someone rings me, then asks for my personal details for security purposes - they're swiftly told where to go!
