Overseas scam callers "Government Solar Rebate” using a spoofed (fake) number. Diverted to scammer answering machine, I hope they enjoyed the chat with it.

Caller: Supposedly Telstra

They were saying that my internet is not working properly. And that it was downloading malicious content. And they wanted to hook up to my computer so that they could fix problem. I said bye and hungup.

This is a scam. Telstra website has a warning posted about this particular scam. Hang up and block the number
