Indian gent claimed to be ringing about my Visa card security and asked me to confirm that I had made a transaction about 4.30 a.m. Declined to discuss it with him and when he persisted, asking me to confirm my identity (I rarely use just my initial and surname, which is what he quoted) I again refused, told him I would check my own records and hung up. My bank confirmed that it sounded like a scam. Tried ringing the number from a non-identifiable phone and recording of an Indian lady claimed it was a coaching college and invited me to press button 1 so they could speak to me to direct my call to the appropriate department. Tried again and this time the recording said "welcome to Upgrad, an online education company"! Avoid at all costs is my advice.

Unsolicited call, no message left.

Caller: Some lady

some indian lady called me saying shes from microsoft and my microsoft computer has been hacked and i need to install their software to remove the hack. told her i use Apple IOS not microsoft windows lol.

Claimed that they were from Microsoft and my computer had been hacked by overseas hackers, very persistent. Ended up telling her she was a scammer and then I hung up.

Claim they are from Amazon and want to get payment confirmation.

Claiming to be from security department at Commonwealth Bank - definitely a scam!

Called me and said they were from NBN and wanted to upgrade my service

an indian guy claim from cba and asked me to confirm some kind of payment but i dont even have an active cba account so.. i just said i dont understand and hung up.
