Caller: Telephone Scammers

I got a call from (03) 7038 6976 on my mobile phone on 15 August 2020 at 11:16am.
The caller said her name was Tammy and she is doing a survey from Melbourne Advance. She asked me gor my age. I didn't answer and the scamming b*tch hung up on me.
( My mobile number is on the DO NOT CALL REGISTER) so any legitimate survey market research company would understand to follow the rules and not call.
Tammy and Melbourne Advance are not legitimate companies because it is a phone scam. And I think the number displaying (03) 7038 6976 was a fake number.

Do these parasites have nothing better to do !!

Rang and any number I don’t know, I don’t answer (even though I’m on a do not call register, that has never worked).
Looked up number on google and here I am... VoIP makes it too easy these days for scammers. I would advise telling the more vulnerable friends and family

THEY CALLED I DIDNT ANSWER, no message left must be a scam

Got a call also from this number saying they were from Melbourne Advance and were doing a survey on how people are coping with COVID lockdown in Victoria and that I would go into the draw for a $1500 voucher - asked my age then if income s above or below $100000 - I said zero and she hung up!!
Obviously a scam - to get details if it is financially worth while.

I Just got a call from this number, someone saying they were Jasmine and from Melbourne Advance and were doing a survey on how people are coping financially with COVID lockdown in Victoria and that I would go into the draw for a $1500 voucher. Their first question to me was, was I under or over 50.

My reply instantly was “well my first question to you Jasmine was how did you get this number?”

Jasmine’s response was to immediately hang up!
