One of the spam call centres is random using the tracking numbers for America's FedX packages by the looks of it. These are the ones that begin with 03. Happens all the time now so can't be just a coincidence but it's an easy way to check because it is at the top of the page.

It’s spam telemarketer

Message I got was that the number was not available

Caller: I don’t know

A woman with an Indian accent called me on this number asking for a “mrs ...” and a name I didn’t catch so I said “Mrs WHO?” And then she just hung up on me. When I called back it went to voicemail at once, a robot voice saying “the number you have called has been switched off or is currently unavailable”. According to my phone the person is calling from Melbourne. Seems fishy.

They said is this Mrs ------- I said yes. They laughed and hung up.

May 7th and I got this call too. One day after and unknown to me seems to be marketing or worse? I've heard of a scam where you ring back and they charge you a fortune per second ($45.00ish), but if you didn't get through I wonder. I never ring back. They'll leave a message if it's urgent.
