Solar panel scam. This number is auto blocked on my phone but keeps calling.

Caller: My cousin

Got the airhorn app to blast so when my pesky call centre cousins call, I can give them the gift of deafness.

The trouble with blocking numbers on the mobile is that it goes directly to voicemail, so you have to listen to the voicemail (silence) to find out it was "one of those". I keep blocking them too, but it may be easier, just to not answer it when it rings,

I now only get these on my mobile. I have Call Guardian on my landline, which won't put a call through to me, unless the person says who they are (or they are on my white list). As spammers won't do that, they just hang up, so my phone doesn't even ring. I LOVE my Call Guardian! I have told so many people about it, Telstra should pay me a commission :-)
I do wish someone would invent an app that works the same way! Like you, I no longer answer the phone, if I don't know who it is. I figure if it is genuine, they will leave a message

Told them I am on do not call register and will report, they hung up.
Called back again & again so I've blocked the number.

i answered call no one on the other end

This number calls me five to six times a day. In the beginning I answered it thinking it could be one of my elderly relations as they call on my home phone not my mobile, unfortunately there was no one on the line they would hang up or it would be silent on the other end. This is very unsettling for me as I don't know who these people are and what they want with me. How do I stop this sort of thing going on? It has been six months since the first call and I ignore it now but still have to rush to look at the number to make sure it is not someone I know.

Delayed answer, so they did not hear answer machine. Call centre sounds in background, sth asian voice. Now on phone blocked numbers.

Caller: Spammer

Annoying spammer pretending to sell solar panels. Has called my mobile twice daily for the past 5 days. I have blocked the number.

Continually ringing daily, each time I advise I have Solar panels, yet they ring again the next day.

I am blocking this number as I do not recognise the number. I do not answer calls where I do not know whom it is calling. I am reporting it as spam

Just rang, I answered, delayed response I said “hello this is.....” she said “hello” I said “yes hello” she went “humph” & hung up. Going on the block list now. Thank you all for taking the time to post your complaints.

Green Solar Rebate.
Asked for someone else, told me she can talk to me as the number owner. Then told me I am the owner of the household, not sure where he got that information. Told him I’ve got solar panels already, which I do, he thanked me for my time and hung up.

Called twice and didn't leave message. I have now blocked this number
