Got this number ringing me about 10 minutes after an unsuccessful scam attempt from an Indian sounding female, reporting to be from Telstra. I only needed to sign a form they emailed me (Click on link etc) and they would out me to a cheaper plan. Yeah right. Told her I'd ring Telstra and if it was true there'd be a file note. Hung Up, rang Telstra, and knock me over with a feather, it wasn't them offering this wonderful deal! Ironically though I updated my plans to better deals while I was on the phone to them so the scammer good for something!

Caller: Telstra Store Representative I am currently on hold with Telstra Complaints regarding a similar call to those listed above. The calls are coming from a Telstra Store where staff are able to access your information in order to get higher sales (I assume) This is how they are able to access all of our information. Legal or not.. am not sure and am waiting on the line to find out.

Indian woman just called me and spoke gibberish, terrible English. But all I could make out was that I could have a better plan for $69.95 as my contract was "coming to an end". Free international phone calls, 5Gb more data, etc. They knew what I paid Telstra, my phone no, my address, date of birth, etc. Very scary. Apart from the huge pressure tactics and the fact I could not understand 80% of what she was saying, I was almost convinced. Good job she called me at work and I had too much else to do to cope with her demands to do this immediately. She wanted my signature and I was very suspicious. Just giggled at me when I said I was going onto my Telstra site to see when my contract expires. Guess what? It's not expiring. She wanted me to click on a link. I will never do that, not for anyone. She became more desperate when I said I would go to a Telstra shop to sort this out...... and that was when I hung up. Blocking it now - same number as some people mentioned above. (03) 9070 8130. Same email address too:- dse_NA3 @ docusign.net (Telstra Solutions via DocuSign)

"Return email address for her was telstrasolutions @ leadersystems.com.au but email was generated from dse_NA3 @ docusign.net and contact landline number for them was (03) 7018 9528"
Same story - only worse. We thought it was legitimate (as they provided a heap of our information, including our telstra account number, when it expired, our current plan details etc) and provided an online signature through the DocuSign and also gave expiry date on license (as she already had our license number)

Caller: (03) 7018 9528 Had this number ring me before Christmas and now they are trying again. Told the Indian lady that I didn’t believe she was telstra because when you tried this before I did ring telstra to confirm that the offer was from them and surprise it wasn’t. What was scary is that these people knew all my details. Be carefe people if the offer sounds to good to be true it probably is. Go to your local telstra shop. Do not click on any links if they email you stuff. Delete straight away and block caller

Caller: Scammer/potential identity thief Further to previous comment ... I rang Telstra directly and asked them if this number is anything to do with them. IT IS NOT TELSTRA! Advice was not to answer, and if you do, don't to provide any information. Scammers/Identity Thieves/Trolls/Low Life Scumbags!

Caller: Another fkn troll/scammer Had a call on my cell phone from this number; they hung up when call went to voicemail. I was immediately suspicious given the number, like "03 7018 ....". I NEVER answer calls prefixed 02 or 03 7 or 8 as they are usually scammers or charity trolls. My advice, guys and guyettes? Don't answer if this number calls you, and do what I have done - BLOCK THE BASTARDS!

An Indian sounding woman purporting to be from Telstra just called and asked to speak to a colleague (whose first name she used). As my colleague was unavailable, I asked what the call related to and she said she was offering a better deal on our Account. I advised her that we have a nominated Account Manager and queried why she was calling. When I did not give out any details, the caller hung off and this is definitely dodgy and a scam, as per the previous comments. Do not give callers from Tel. (03) 7018 9528 any details!!

same thing. It appears as though they want to get your drivers licence details, most likely to use to complete an identity theft. DONT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS!

Caller: 7018 9528 I just had a call from that number too, claiming to be from Telstra, I told her I was suspicious, she knew my address, phone number etc... She was offering me a better deal. Wanted my email address, I told her, if she was from Telstra she would know my number. She gave me some weird email address, I told her it's not true. I asked her for a number, to call her back. When I called back a male voice said "Welcome to Telstra". I said that I will report them to police. Someone should stop them. They know so many details....

Caller: Indian Lady asked for her ID she gave it as P 50922 Knew my email address, landline number, my date of birth, Telstra account number, amount my bill was worth even that I my phone was out of contract. Ive been called in the same number at least four times also on my landline. Each time I questioned the caller. This last time the caller said she could prove she was with Telstra as she had my billing number.
