received a call a couple days ago and wanted me to go to my modem and get the entry lvl # to by pass my modem. I asked what for, they said there was many disruptions in my service, and they were to see what my baud rate was and also my ping. (I'm a systems analyst) I said you don't need to know my baud rate or my ping. Just as many as above had stated, they were from Telstra, and I immediately wanted her employee # I could check out her authenticity. ( I'm not with Telstra anyways, but I was stringing her along) She said that she was not going to give out her employee # (red flag) I commented if she thought I was stupid, and she said yes, all Aussies are stupid and gullible. Lol, that really got me laughing cause I'm Canadian, and she couldn't tell that I didn't have an Aussie accent? Indian Idiots.

Said they were from Telstra and my internet was slow. Sounded like they were reading from a script. Said they could help with my account so I asked if they had my account number and they said no, so I hung up.
