Male caller, Indian accent, very poor English. Claimed to be Telstra, something to do with my Internet connection not being secure, so I hung up. Number now barred.

(03) 5491 1862 Indian male called with lots of background noise of other scammers talking, claimed to be from Telstra and said my computer has a problem and he wanted to fix it for me (how nice!!). Then he asked me to turn on my PC and load my internet browser. I could see where this was heading (eventually loading Team Viewer etc and infect the PC remotely) so I did nothing. He wanted me to CONCENTRATE on my keyboard (!) and told me to look at the left side and tell him what key is there. I said "Control". Then he asked me to tell him the key next to it and I said "Alt".
then he said look for a key with four squares on it (he wanted me to press the Windows key).
Instead of asking me to press Start, he did it with keyboard shortcuts. The person was obviously not very experienced because after he told me to press the Windows key I told him there was no Windows key on this PC. At this point he didn't know what to say (hahah!!), paused for a while then asked if I was using a Mac. I said no this is a PC and there is no Windows key. He said there MUST be the Windows key and I must look for it. I repeated again there is no Windows key and he repeated I must find it and press it.
At this point I was getting bored and I was actually in the middle of eating lunch so I told him I know he is a scammer and he should quickly f-ck off, then I hung up.
