I sometimes get these calls and if I have nothing urgent to do, I will act dumb and speak slowly, pretending I am a computer novice and lead them on a merry chase as if I believe their spiel. I get them to repeat instructions and give them false error messages supposedly from my computer. I figure while I am wasting their time, they can't call some innocent person who believes them.

They just rang me. When I told the Indian sounding lady I thought she was telling stories and I was going to contact the authorities she told me I was rubbish and I should go to hell. Didn't get time to ask her for directions before she hung up....

This is not a legitimate phone number. When I tried to call it back, there is a Telstra message saying 'Your call could not be connected. Please check the number.'

Answered call and heard foreign accent (Indian, I guess) that didn't acknowledge that their call was answered! After a minute of them talking to each other, I hung up. Tried to return call number and number not connected?!?

They call in regards to my computer problems. I told them I know that they are scammers and not to call again. I can expect another call tomorrow at the same time, as this doesn't seem to deter them.

Silence, then ??? hang up. After I do a google search, I recall the number on my phone, then put a barr on it. Easy to do and no stress, except when I have just sat down to have a cup of tea.

Long pause when I answer, so obviously a call Centre. Male voice with strong accent. Says from Telstra. When I say "poor line, with lots of noise, hard to, understand you" (which it was) they hung up.
