I operate 4 accounts with Momentum Energy. Their contact number is a 1300 number for customer care and 1800 number for sales. International number begins 86...... So I assume that this is a scam. They rang me yesterday and left a message, with the contact number. Then today, I got a call from (03) 4242 4331, with no message left.

This is momentum energy. It rings but there is no one on the other end. Will also call multiple times within 2 mins.

They call me often and on different numbers...okay heres the thing...if you answer the call you have accepted their terms and become liable as soon as you claim the account name as being you. (You do this by answering yes when they ask for your details to confirm that they have the correct account holder). This constritutes acceptance of a contract. Trouble is its verbal and not written. My advice is to not answer the call at all and accept only written documents which require no response. No, you dont have to pay your utility bills ...they have already been paid...but thats another story.

Just got a call from this number no msg left or anything else

Two calls for today from this Number. When pick up, there's no reply nothing. So annoying.

i received a hangup message from this number today called back but not a sound not even a engaged signal
i do not have a momentum energy account but i get calls from them every month about late payment??
i have called them several times complaining about text and voice calls that the number they have is incorrect and that i have never had an account with them

Recieved call from this number this morning. Once answered the caller hanged up. I called the number, called was received but nothing but heavy breath.

I received a call from this number on my mobile phone (I'm in Perth) today (May 4, 2015) at 3:45pm local time. Not a word was spoken. If they're claiming to be from Momentum Energy then it's a scam; Momentum Energy does not operate in WA.

Called today 1/4/2015 but same as others - nothing at the other end. Called number back and confirmed it is Momentum Energy - we don't have an account with them.

THIS NUMBER SEEMS TO BE A SCAM.
THEY ANSWER BUT DON'T SAY ANYTHING EXCEPT BREATH.
