Same as above where a pre recorded message says they are from ATO and you have tax evasion crimes and need to call or get lawyer to call this 'hotline' number to avoid arrest.

Got same call parents panicking big time and they confirmed email address home address tfn and their name. Anything I can do because they are old and I'm angry and not sure what these people can do with this information they now have and I'm very worried please help me help mu parents pkease. Call was about one week ago we get calls and they hang up this used to happen sometimes but now every night and thinking that they want to see if anyone's home guidance would be great thank you all

They also use the number (03) 9021 6861. Just had a missed call and they left the message re tax evasion.

Indian man left a message about tax avoidance and saying I'll get arrested. Used to get these calls daily, for a while it was quiet but got another one today

The "ATO" called me about tax evasion and letters being returned that were unsigned. They left a call back number to avoid further prosecution. These scams make me laugh.....!!

Same for me but telling me or my lawyer to call this number.

Got a call missed most of the message except for call a hotline with a lawyer to avoid legal action, blocked it.

Same as above - msg left re tax evasion, undelivered/ unsigned registered mail, warrant out for arrest and to get lawyer / self to ring back

I get up to 8 calls a day both on my mobiles and landline some from this number and some from other numbers all with the same ATO message

Caller states account logged for delinquent due to tax avoidance and tax evasion, petition note filed for warrant of arrest, phone number under surveillance, etc.

Had 3 missed calls, they kept trying to call so I answered and no response then they hung up and called me 2 more times and answered both calls and no one spoke so i hung up and blocked the number

similar to others, message saying ring or arrest likely and we are monitoring your calls.

Called me about tax evasion. Letters bring returned. They left a call back number to avoid further prosecution. What's the use if having DO NOT CALL.

another bogus ATO call. when I asked why I received a call from them as my tax returns were uptodate the guy replied "thank you very much...goodbye"
