I don’t answer calls that are not in my phone book, and if it’s really someone who wants to speak to you then they’ll leave a voicemail.

Called and didn't leave a voicemail. I called back and at first they didn't pick up. Later called back and it was local Specsavers updating me on my "script" is about to expire and I need a new one.

Energy company keeps calling twice a week. It is male voice with accent. Blocked the number this time he calls with different number. The last time there was a call again with no id. It comes from Bankstown NSW

Kept calling up to 3 times a day at all different times for a week.
Eventually I rang back and it was an automated message reminding me I’m due for an eye test.
Can they not just leave a voice message or send a text instead of constantly calling!

Keeps calling twice weekly. Never leaves a message so i presume spam call. Glad this site is avaialable. as it confirms my suspicion and i now happily block.

Daily calls. Called back from another phone and got a pre-recorded message in Mandarin.

Just got some insurance quotes and then this number starts calling me so pretty sure it’s a cold calling company looking to sell me something

I called back (02) 9937 8414 and it was P&O cruises

Now Blocked - multiple calls.

Googled the number and got this helpful site. Definitely a dodgy call as I live in NZ. If you miss the call don't call back as the charges may be astronomical!!!!

I answered and nobody was there. The call finished after 6 seconds of silence - just like every other automated call which comes through a computer, dialling sequential numbers to see which ones are operational. If we answer, the computer puts us on a list.
Aaaand... now my number is very likely on yet another scam list. SMH.

Regardless of what a robot voice says about SpecSavers when people call the number back, I doubt very much that the caller really is SpecSavers. The number does not appear on its website, and it's extremely unlikely that SpecSavers would call me from another state because there are dozens of closer stores.
