Are they from Telstra or just an overseas spam company claiming to be? Regardless it is spam. Complain to the ombudsman.

Had three missed calls from this number, answered the fourth, was told "Pauline from Telstra about my account" I didn't confirm my name. Told Pauline I was in town near the Telstra store so would go in and discuss my account, got an IMMEDIATE hang up!!!

They have rung me three times today, have not answered it, and they do not leave a message.

These idiots keep calling asking me to confirm my birthdate and name on a Saturday morning. I said there is no way in hell I'm giving you my details unless you tell me what it's about. They said they can't but all the details are in front of them. I said well tell me what they are and what it's about? They said I had to give my birthdate and confirm my name... I said YOU give me your birthdate and name. The guy starts to get confused and angry and eventually tells me it's about eBay and a debt. U have never had an eBay debt. Scamming bastards are still harassing me almost daily.
My advice, access your mobile account and put them down on a blocked number list on Mobile Protect. Lowest of low rat humans!!!

No, it isn't Telstra. This number called me this morning and tried to get my birthdate to verify my identity. I refused as I didn't initiate contact, instead just called Telstra back myself and they confirmed no one from Telstra calls on that number, and no one from Telstra called me from anywhere today

I added this number to my blocked numbers list 3 weeks ago and they keep calling. Is there a way to leave a voice message for calls received from numbers in your blocked numbers list. I'd like to leave a message telling them to $%×# off and get a life.

Got a missed call from them today - handed the phone to my daughter to answer and they hung up immediately.

They might actually be from telstra. They were asking me questions about things only telstra would know. Example how i paid out my old contract and got a jew phone. Also the weeks of problems I had getting the new phone.

A few suggestions:- Add their number to your digital phone book and mark it as "spam". Use CID (Caller ID). Use an answering machine - they will not talk to it. Use "call blocking" if you have this available on your phone. Don't answer calls if they won't leave a message - and you don't recognise the number. Eventually, if you do some or all of these things, you will get fewer and fewer calls. Never give out your details. Tell them you will visit their office - or look up the number independently (don't trust the one they give you).

They are still at it. Sometimes I am not quick enough to hang up before they pick up their computer-dialed number. They claim that they are from Telstra but hang up when I tell them I don't have a Telstra account. Alternatively, tell them you're busy and to give you a number to ring back later and then forget to do so.

just received a call from this number, actually helped improve my billing, proved to be an offsider profit company that is esentially Telstra, they helped me increase my data package. and they had 100% of my information that Telstra had, was helpful in the end.
however they did initially ask for my birth date, but that was it.

They have got me in their sights too. Your service is great. I have just blocked them and hope they end up in the hole that Sammie talked about.

Just called Telstra, they looked this number up and it's in no way connected to Telstra, it's a scam call centre based in Canberra.
Hope these bastards get out of my business and die in a hole before I put them there myself.
