Yet another scam caller from overseas-Female asian voice claiming to be from Telstra.
How do they get past the DO NOT CALL restrictions?I gave this woman a gobfull and she hung up-How Rude !!!!! . I get these calls almost daily.When will Telstra do something about it?

Supposed to be a call from Telstra. I have been receiving 2 to 5 calls a day for the last few months. Lucky I work some days so don't have to deal with it everyday. I now tell them to f off and hang up. I did initially try to reason with them, and say I had received a number of calls and I am not interested. That made it worse, got more calls. I have put in a complaint to Do Not Call Register, but never heard anything and still get calls. So frustrating

I have been getting calls from so called Telstra reps claiming that my internet has a problem and will be disconnected if I don't do as they say. When I tell them that I'm not with Telstra they tell me that Telstra is the mother company for all internet providers. The most worrying thing about these calls is that the caller asks for me by name. I have family who live in England and the are being driven mad with the same type of calls. This appears to be a world wide scam. Telstra really need to look at ways of stopping this.

Called and told me I had a unsecure internet connection and wanted me to run through some commands to gain access to my laptop

So sick and tired of these people do they think we are that stupid, sorry not with Telstra but like to play along with them at times. I told them once to stop calling me that I was going to report them and I ended the guy on the other end saying some really colourful things back and some of it was threatening me and my family he even included our poor dog, so I told him to come and get us, well still waiting and he hasn't shown up.

Guys , I know we should not have to go through this. But most phone these days you can auto reject, so , If we all take the time [like we have by visiting this site], and work out which ones to auto reject , these scammers will be forever changing numbers with telcos, wasting there time , money, and raising suspicion with the regulators.

Caller: Trying to say they are from Telstra

Trying to tell me they are from Telstra when they aren't from Telstra. Claim to want to fix security on my computers when in truth they really want access to my passwords and email address

Calling 2-3 times a day trying to tell me that they from Telstra and are getting error messages from my modem and that they are putting messages into my Event Viewer. They tell you to go to the Event Viewer to have a look. Told them I would ring back, they gave me a 1300 number. Didn't ever ring back of course. How can we stop this number calling us.

They called at least 4 times the last couple of days. As soon as the answering machine starts, they hang up! So annoying.

calls several times a day, Indian scammers

keep getting these calls too and each time I answer they usually hang up. found if you use cranky voice to say hello they hang up straight away! I tried being polite and got the Telstra crap message too and he was very very rude and demanding that I go straight to the computer now and do as he says. started asking for my legal name and birthdate and other person details.. when I told him to bugger off he hung up on me lol! I feel sorry for all the pensioners who get sucked in to this

I receive multiple calls daily to the home phone from this number. A lot of the times they just hang up and don't even talk, other times saying from Telstra. The Do Not Call Register doesn't seem to work.

I have received 8 call from this phone number in the last hour, the last call was at 9.20pm, this is a joke

We are receiving multiple calls from this number. Technical Department of Telstra. This number needs to be disconnected!!!

Got a call from an Indian man claiming to be from Telstra, said his name was Mike, what a joke. He said someone was trying to hack into my online banking. I told him I don't have on line banking, then he said that they were trying to get my personal information. When I asked him who my name was, he gave me the wrong name. I said I would ring Telstra directly tomorrow and then he hung up. They keep calling daily. I think I'll buy a whistle.

Asian voice each time. 6 times in one hour, saying their from Telstra & we have a technical problem with computer sending corrupt messages to our I.P. provider. We're not even with Telstra.

Claimed to be from telstra and wanted to fix the security on my computer .

Caller from (02) 9856 3265 - LAUGH AT THEM WHEN THEY CALL YOU FROM THIS NUMBER
I heard all the 'scammers' in the background of the call center making the same outgoing calls. I said to 'my scam caller' after he introduced himself that I do not have any issues and told him this should be fun and I said you may as well hang up now. He just hung up.

Caller: Says Telstra but there don't cold call

Ring regularly, if you get anyone it's an Asian voice. Not sure How they can make illegal and harassing calls on through lines that are Australian.
