Got a call from this number. only rang twice and left no message. When I rang back I got this number is disconnected.

Called few times today., finally answered it. I asked who they were and hung up. Seems like a scam.

Didn't leave a message when they phoned and when I phoned the number back it was disconnected

I've had a lot of annoying calls from this number. My advice: don't answer!

Several calls from this number - caller always same with heavy Indian accent. He says he is doing a survey and that I must answer clearly and only yes or no answers. Tell him I don't want to take part and he argues. Definitely some type of scam with the "yes or no" answers.

Call me in the morning, they asked questions like cost of living review, and I was not comfortable doing it, and then they hang up without saying anything further. In the afternoon, they called again, but when I pick up the call is disconnected.

Received calls from (02) 9739 7497 a few days apart. Finally answered one of these calls today (7/5/2014). Caller had a distinct Indian accent. Said it was a Govt. survey & asked questions about cost of living, whether my property was owned or mortgaged, income bracket, age & mentioned my home address seeking confirmation thereof. This made me really suspicious. Rang off before I could establish how or when he obtained my personal details (name, cell number, address). As you mentioned, I'd also redialled this number later in the day and got a recorded message saying the number was disconnected. Someone's up to no good by the likes of it.

I also got several calls from (02) 9739 7497 and (02) 8883 4448 continuously within a few days, but when I called back these numbers, they are always engaged. Indian man with heavy accent just annoying with questions about my costs of living without telling me clearly how and where he got my cell ph#, so his English is just enough for me to get what he asked, that's strange!

Two calls from this number in two hours. First call was Indian guy from aussie choice wanting me to take part in a cost of living survey. First call told him I wasn't interested and hung up, second call I recognised the number and rejectedthe call.

Called back and the number doesn't exist. Upon answering the call they hung up. This is worse than any prank call just because it's happened so many times lol

This is one of a number of calls we've received from this and other NSW numbers. One I traced to a firm that has been the subject of a number of complaints - some Chinese guy seems to be involved with one of the numbers. Mostly when we pick up the phone there is no response at the other end though.

The guy on the phone with a heavy Indian accent said he's calling from Aussie Choice to do a survey about my cost of living. I have had so many similar calls coming from different numbers all asking me about my cost of living. Other numbers that I have had these calls from are (07) 3844 4484 and (07) 3357 7787. If you say that you don't have time for a survey they get very pushy and start asking questions anyway.

Yes very annoying same. Then we all go looking on the web and someone gets free traffic as we click away. I notice this whelan property group add is on all the reverse call lookups ????????

got a call from (02) 9739 7497 and a guy said "Hi" and I replied "Yes?" and he hang up. If it's telemarketer.. why just "Hi" and hang up?Are we actually losing credit phone when we are taking their call? or a lazy telemarketer doesn't want to the job. Just making a numerous calls showing that he did his job?
