called from Telstra about wanting to make an appointment to set up NBN, didnt have any of my details as they are only making appointments and have no access to accounts! Told her that we arent with Telstra anymore as not happy with their service and then she basically hung up on me! Happy to waste their time seeing how they waste mine!

Claimed they were from Testsra re NBN wanting to make an appointment to see me. When I asked if I could ring back they said they don't have a call back number. Bye bye :-)

After reading the posts on this number, I have now blocked it on my mobile. Thanks everyone!!!

every time they call my land line with this number it diverts to my mobile and I get
charged 0.98 cents at this rate I will be broke in no time

Same deal, they called claiming to be from Telstra and wanted to discuss NBN. Asked for ID and got an unintelligible response, at which point I told them f%@$ off.

Our Government needs to legislate to stop our telco's supporting this type of scam call, it's all aimed at identity theft.

Also claimed to be from Telstra ask for her ID No to verify who she was, hung up

Representative wanted to speak to owner of business about NBN. I stated she had called a private residence & we had just connected to the NBN. I tried to inquire where she got my number & why she was calling. Surprisingly she apologetically she tried to end the call!

Similar to others, I tried to call the number only to receive a recorded message that the number was not in service.

I wish ACMA & TIO had some teeth to stop these callers!

A whole story about wanting an appointment to check nbn.
However, nbn and Telstra are two independent entities so that is already not right.
Then they started asking about my account details.
So I said 'You rang me so you tell me what you see about my account, I am not providing any information if you can't prove you are Telstra Customer Service.
Well, guess what, another attempt to spin the story.

What a load of crap and wasting of my time.

Say they're from Telstra and have a business manager in the area wanting to book an appointment about NBN.

I called back number (02) 9677 4755 rang 5 times then goes to busy tone.

called and hung up. a female. Asked for Mr or Mrs. ? I rang back was told the number was not in service. How can someone phone from such a " not in service " telephone number Probably a scam. The voice sounded Asian.
