Received a call about a survey. Caller wanted to know if I was a full time worker, under 60 and owning my home. Sounded fishy, caller hung up

Caller just laughed and said wrong number.
Tried calling the number back with hidden ID. "Your call could not be connected. Please check the number and try again"
I checked it and tried again twice. Same message.

Scam caller from (02) 9651 6026 said he was calling about the Commonwealth Rebate Campaign with a few initial questions to assess my eligibility to be provided with further information as to how this would benefit me. Was very confident, but evasive on details - declining to say who he represented. He said was calling from a call centre - about a process involving re-directing taxable income, without compromising pension eligibility, put together by some of Australia's larger companies. Details about the campaign were on the ATO website he said. Wanted to know whether I was a homeowner, under 60. He hung up when I said I was not interested unless I knew what companies were involved here after telling me I should have told him at the beginning of the call that I wasn't interested! Checking back into missed calls listings - this is the third call in just over a week.

(02) 9651 6026 calls at least twice a day & won't leave a message, so I ignore it. Been going on for months. Over it

Called today and said they were from the Commonwealth Bank rebate campaign didn't really have time to listen to her but sounded genuine. Tried calling back but it said the number wasn't available....

missed call try to call back got same message "your call could not be connected" they most likely have copied theTelstra message as well. Hope they are paying for the call they make!!

Just received a call on my mobile phone from this number & I missed the call.
When I rung it back I was advised that the number is disconnected.
Wtf! Who are these people & what is their problem?
Don't they understand that people have a life & don't want or need to deal with more idiots in this world!
I have blocked the number now!

Scammers. Something about a tax rebate. Aussie voice and local number but DODGY right from when he opened his mouth. And when I said not interested and am on the 'do not call' list he got quite rude and nasty. Now BLOCKED.

Just received a call from (02) 9651 6026... I said "Hello"... The idiot hung up. The universe is watching... whoever they are they will be busted. Don't answer this number!!

(02) 9651 6026 is a Scam caller, I blocked the number, after checking out this website.

Received a call from this number. Caller named Josh said he's from Commonwealth Rebate Program and wanted to check if I'm eligible for tax rebate. He said they'll get back to me within 48 hours.

made the mistake of calling my number. I told them to kill themselves, and that was before I found this number listed here on this website.
