This number called me and said they were working to see if people were eligible for the "Australian Eligibility Program" - She said this was on the ATO website, but I told her I was Googling and actively looking for this as we were speaking, and there was no reference to this on any legitimate website. She then got angry, replied "Well good for you" and hung up.

Before hanging up, she refused to tell me what company she represents, but said instead she worked for "a number of companies" and couldn't tell me which one applied to me... I then asked her to name all the companies instead as it didn't matter how specific she was, and she also refused and said she was "bound to the privacy act". Nonsense.

I heard other operators in the background - This is a scam company. Be careful.

a woman rang from this number - said something about tax break eligibility for people who own their own home and age under 59, then asked does this apply to you?
I asked what company they are from - the woman hung up immediately without saying anything else.

These thieves are spoofing a disconnected number to steal your money.

This number called me and said they were working to see if people were eligible for the "Australian Eligibility Program". They said this program is a government program about helping to transfer a % of paid tax to your superfund to help people achieve self funded retirement.

Answered a few questions and they said they will check if I am eligible and call me back in the next 48 hours.

Not sure its real as cant find this on the ATO or gov websites.

Threatened to slit my throat and that of my family if I exposed their scam. Have got Rottweiler on high alert.

this number called my mobile a few minutes ago. I let it ring out as I am reluctant to answer numbers like these that I don't know. Thank goodness for Reverse Australia. This number is duly blocked.

I got a call from (02) 9651 4246 on my mob. The whole page was highlighted in red and under the number said something like "This number has been identified as spam".

The man tried to tell me he was calling to see my "eligibility" for some "Australian Eligibility Program" from something to do with tax. I don't remember if he said something about ATO or not, but did deffinitely say "tax"., then he asked if it "applied to me".

I told him my phone had identified and warned me about the number being identified as "spam/scam" and said goodbye. It took me a couple of seconds to hang up, enough to hear esitation and shock!!!!! LOL

BTW, one of my daughters works at an ATO department.......

Phone rings, but no one leaves a message, just hangs up. SCAM call for sure

They rang.....no message I rang number back,recorded message states number disconnected
This number originates from Dural Xchange they have done this previously


Can't the telecommunications ombudsman or Telstra attend to this problem

My phone rang. I did not answer it. Caller hung up

2 missed calls on consecutive days. Upon calling back says 'number has been disconnected'

Something about an eligibility program when I asked for further information to google they were unable to provide and stated they were a "campaign" it seems to be a scam

They have me on a 45min call back loop. never any massage left - scam. Don't answer and put the number on block

I am on the do not call register and still get these calls!

Obviously a scam, hang up on answering machine. On call back = my call cannot be connected. SCREW OFF!
