Cold called, claiming to be offering something for a scheme from the Federal Government. When I asked which Government department was offering the scheme he didn't know. I let him ramble a bit longer. He asked some more questions, and apparently I didn't qualify for the scheme anyway. It was a foreign voice on an awful sounding phone line. Totally dodgy as far as I'm concerned.

Answered call and received an automated "goodbye" response.

When I answered, a fellow with an Indian accent started addressing me by my surname. He said that he wanted to speak to me about a Government rebate scheme available to a MARRIED, and WORKING person who owns the property. I replied that I own the property, but am not working (retired). * click * That was it! When I tried to call the number, all I got was "the number you have called is not connected".

Indian voice .bad phone line.. retirement wealth scheme .. sounds legit

Googled the number and it suggested that it was a scam harrassment call.

When will the GOVERNMENT Finally wake up and stop all this crap callers they get blocked EVERYTIME

The caller was offering a tax rebate, wanted to confirm he had the correct name, how much I earned and whether the post code was correct. It was wrong and he asked me to provide the correct one to me, I refused, and then he explained if I didn't provide it to him I would be called by his company everyday. I did not give it to him, however I exclaimed how dare he threaten to spam me with phone calls. I then asked for his name and the name of the company he worked for and he refused, said sorry and hung up on me.

Obviously a scam - when I asked how they got my number the caller was totally flummoxed and hung up.

cold calling - asked me a few general questions which were pretty generalized (under 60 and home owner). about ATO offering rebates for retirement. When I started to question him about who he was and what should I expect from this call (ie sell my details and someone will call me about investing) he hung up the phone.

Received an unsolicited call from this number today. Caller claimed to be from Wealth & Retire Services. As soon as I asked why he was calling this number, he hung up.

Some sort of scheme but couldn't understand the accent. Hung up

I rejected his retirement wealth offer and the indian guy just scolded me for not taking the offer.

Do not pick up this number and block this number too.

Received a call from this number. Didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message. Take a phone call as a scammer IF no message is left. Definitely dodgy number based on all the history above. Really beneficial having this service to record such numbers.

I have recieved about 4 calls from this number in the last 2 days. Thankfully thought to google it and thanks everyone for the feedback. Glad i have now blocked the number

I just want to call them back and tell them I will meet them some where to discuss there deals.
