I am at a loss why I receive calls from these bloody scammers !! I signed a "DO NOT CALL" register . What is the point of adding a phone number to a register and still get blasted from scammers !

I am using answering machine to screen all unwanted/scam calls to landline.
they will hang up after message beep sound.
on average 3 calls in a day.
annoying.

Received call on my mobile today at 3:17 pm and the second I heard it I was going to answer but it just went dead. This is the second time. It happened again two days ago at 2:36 pm and exactly the same thing happened.

Same number (02) 9570 6697 called today in Sydney. I was not home looks like they hung up since no message left. Glad we have a Telstra Peer Guardian phone.

I called back number (02) 9570 6697 rang 5 times then goes to busy tone.
