I can see what you are saying but you are wrong about these people. They ARE scammers because they called me when I am on the Do Not Call register.
The other issue is that most of the criminals who actually try to steal money from people by claiming to be from Windows etc and telling people that they have a fault with their computer, are from India. It seems to be a country of very low moral values and gross corruption. Simply check up on how many children are stolen and used as child sex slaves in India - the numbers are frightening.

Yes these calls are annoying, but I do not think we need to call them "scum bags" or filthy names etc. Yes they may have an Indian accent and yes they may be trying to earn a living doing a lousy job, but do the "fair go for all" Australians realise their constant abuse of these people could be behind why some of them feel alienated in our beautiful country. A country where we claim to be a tolerant people and proud of our multicultural nation. Some claim Australia to be a Christian country. Do they know what being a christian means.

They call from India and they are scammers, they do not follow the rules and should be finned for calling people on the do not call register

Rang at 5.30, answered the call but as soon as I heard the silence I pushed the hashtag button a couple of times then I hung up. The caller rang straight back and continued to do so for about 5 minutes, got so frustrating that I answered. The man launched into abusing me and calling me stupid for pushing the buttons in his ear, so I did it again but didn't hang up this time - I left the line open for 3 hours. See if that stops them
