"Silent Numbers" are a lot of the problem. Most phones these days have caller ID systems, but silent numbers make this facility next to useless, as you can't identify many calls and need to answer in case its family or friends.

I wish these peanuts would take the hint and give up.

have 8 calls from this number. i have never answered them as it would be a waste of time as you dont get the chance to tell them to f+++ off

I receive a phone call at least once a week from this number . This has been going on for three three months . I've blocked them, however the calls are still registering. U would think they would Give up calling when it's obviousl that I have blocked them.

Received a call yesterday and called the number from work.. Recorded message states that you have received a call from the Prostate and Breast Cancer Foundation Fundraising. Good cause at least...

call around 7.30 every night, wish they would stop calling but don't know who they are as they never leave a message on my answer machine. has to be a scammer or telemarketing, legitimate people would leave a message.

2nd night in a row around 6.45pm. Rings approx 15 times and then cuts out. Did *10# and retrieved the number. Checked it out on this site. Not planning to answer.
