I’m a UOC licensed drone pilot.
Over the past couple of years I’ve been working on the good things drones have to offer.
Last year I flew to Florida for a workshop on automated flight.
There’s a model aircraft club in the Garrugal forrest near you in Terrey Hills.
I’ve been using my drones to locate crashed models - kind of “needle in a suburb” searches, but I’ve recovered 2 so far. Two needles in a suburb.
Recently, I’ve been chatting with junior members of NSW Water Police about coastal SAR missions at 50 ft AGL, independent of other aircraft, where we can say found it and read off gps coordinates.
One of my drones can carry a thermal imaging camera for night missions.
Not looking for money, just a passion. Best case, you check this out and like the idea.
