Some-one called me from purporting to be from the "Do Not Call Service", this number showed up on my phone display. Had a foreign accent, possibly Indian. Offered to put me on the service, he had my name with initials and street address but didn't have the unit number, so obviously used the phone directory. Probed me for my first name, which I refused to give. He claimed that the service would block all unsolicited calls, including those from overseas. I suggested to him that he was on a phishing expedition, and asked him what other questions was he going to ask. After 5 minutes he hung up. The holder of this number may have nothing to do with what I suspect is a scam.
