"Art Student" from the University of Sydney.
Read a note on internet that said this was a scam where they ask alumni's for money to go toward scholarship.
Whether genuine or not it was an unsolicited call and I politely said I was busy.
I think if they were truly "Art Students" they would call themselves 'student(s) of the arts'. I wasn't a "humanities student" but a "student of humanities".
Would make a good trivia question, hum?

I've donated once before and received the tax invoice. It was a medical student who called me. But now they ring all the time.

Here it is from the Uni website: How do I know it’s really the University? All calls from our telephone fundraising program come from the same outgoing number. You will be able to verify that you are speaking with a student caller by checking the number they are calling from is (02) 9325 0317.
You can also verify the call by checking your graduate ID, or Advance ID, which is different from your student number. Your advance ID can be found on anything we send you including letters, your Sydney Alumni Magazine, and emails.

If you do not answer, they persist. Second call in a week. When I let the phone ring out they rang my parents house! Starts as an alumni survey and then asking for money. Do not appreciate it at all.

So much chaty chat before asking for donations. Asked for my address at first, then ask about my career, and finally, ask for donations.

Not a hoax. Part of the University of Sydney’s telephone fundraising campaign. It’s listed on the University’s Alumni website.

Asking for donation--I just received a call from this number (on Saturday) and they have all information to convince us they are from authentic source. Not sure how they collected all my info--permanent address, email, phone, department etc. Also, last week they called me twice for donation. I knew this number does not belong to Uni Sydney and did not believe them. I asked them to email me but they refused. It's really disturbing.
I asked which office they call from, they can't tell truly. They got confused and said it is Students Service Office which does not exist. I will never receive their call again.
