If you get calls from these tossers, please complain. If you're on the Do Not Call Register, please complain. These a**holes won't stop calling you unless they get fined. Here's the response I got from the Do Not Call Register:

Good afternoon,
The Do Not Call Register team has identified that the call you reported was made by a number associated with E Media Group Pty Ltd.

The information provided in your complaint will assist the Do Not Call Register team in its compliance and enforcement activities. The majority of businesses improve their telemarketing practices after being notified of a potential breach and we receive no further complaints about them. If we continue to receive complaints, the ACMA may formally investigate the business.

Further information about the Do Not Call register can be found at: www.donotcall.gov.au/consumers/faqs-for-consumers/.

The Do Not Call Register team will not contact you again about your complaint unless we require further information. The ACMA’s complaint handling policy can be found at www.acma.gov.au/DNCpolicy.

If you receive other calls or faxes which you believe to be telemarketing calls or marketing faxes, please lodge new complaints via the online complaint form at www.donotcall.gov.au or by calling 1300 792 958.

Do Not Call Register team

It's fun to say, "hold on a moment, I will get the owner". Then quietly put the phone down and turn on that saved audio of a baby laugh looping around ad infinitum. Helps prevent them calling other people for few minutes too.

Ivan called first with a telemarketing call claiming to be from Google. When I was not prepared to put in my credit card details so he could book a qualifying phone call two days hence, he promised me that no money would be taken and that I could withdraw at any time, so on that basis I did enter my details and clicked get started. Adam called two days hence after I had had time to think about it and I withdrew in accordance with my agreement with Ivan. Adam said I would have to do that through someone else and transferred me to Aaron. Aaron had a take no prisoners attitude and claimed that I was locked into a business to business contract which has no cooling off period like a consumer contract. As a distinction student in contract law in my studies in my Bachelor of Business, MBA and Real Estate Certificate I understand a little about contracts and informed him that the verbal contract I had with Ivan was the only contract I acknowledged and that gave me the right to withdraw. Of course, according to Aaron, Ivan contradicted my assertion regarding his promise that I could withdraw at anytime although accepting that no money would be taken because that was in writing. After I left off speaking with Aaron having explained that there was no business to business contract other than the verbal one between me and Ivan as there was no intention on my behalf to create legal relations, no agreement by me to the online offer and no consideration for any offer other than the verbal contract. Following that Jacob rang explaining that his role was as a mediator and asked me to email him my version of events so he could consider both sides of the argument and come to a fair decision on the matter. I did that but the next person to call was not Jacob, it was Aaron again with his abusive and unreasonable attitude repeating his same argument as before, which, of course, I soundly rejected, telling him in no uncertain terms that I would not be paying them any money. I am still awaiting their further response if any.

I have a simple two strike rule - if you call me twice and don't leave a message, you go straight to my blocked caller list. If you call and happen to leave a message that sounds like you're in the middle of a cattle auction selling bull sh!7, then you join your buddies in the blocked caller list. Do not pass Go. Do not collect $200.

They called but I was unable to answer. No message was left. On the basis of the above information, I shall block these people. I might even have a little fun with them the next time they call.

Hi BT we have been scammed big time by this mob.... $4150 has been taken out of our account. Do you know any details about them. We have reported them to ACCC, Google and Dept of Fair Trading. We are now speaking to lawyers. They are ruthless criminals. I would be grateful if you could share any details about them. I do not think they use their real names.

invasive, rude, patronising - parading to be from Google. Incredibly unprofessional and underhanded - tried to call back to say grow some morals, but the line was 'busy' and 'voice box was full'.

Worked there very briefly. Unprofessional to the point of embarrassment, dodgy practices both towards customers and employees. Should have done more research before accepting an offer.

reading these complaints. More than 2 years later and they are still making calls. The DNC register is not worth bothering with
