They have called me twice now. Just said "Hello", and they hung up immediately.
They call at 8pm each time.

Just blocked them. Very rarely answer to numbers I don't know.

They must be doing the rounds again, they haven't called for at least 6 months and then try at 8:20 on a Friday night. Not good form... Just don't answer, they eventually go away!

Meh I answered, it was a survey about mobile network, internet & coverage. I wasn’t impressed about them ringing after 8pm on a school night though. I don’t have home internet, I’m not a Telstra or Optus customer so I couldn’t really answer the questions. I don’t have Netflix, Stan, live steaming, pay tv or whatever else he asked, my phone has internet, that’s good enough for me. I use my phone for good old telephone conversations, I do send the occasional text but I like to live life like before. Before these smart phones that made everyone stupid hahahahaha

I believe the source is domino pizza giving out or selling contact details. In the small print they have a disclaimer about market research and I also worked for a company that purchased contacts from dominos and pizza hut for telemarketers for charity fund raising. Tell them to take your number off the list but it doesn't stop the next company that purchases from them calling you with a different research survey or charity.

Rang at 2015, did not leave a msg. Number came up on my phone as
(02) 9304 4370. I came here to find outs what's going on & after reading other comments have blocked the number.
I am too busy, and certainly not in the mood to deal with ppl who present to have obtained my number from a questionable source as I feel it is a infringement on my privacy,my personal time and is most defiantly unwelcomed disruption to my day and/or evening-night.

I just had a new mobile number added and sure enough, this number is now being called by these pesky 'people', so someone is given out our numbers!

Caller: Caller from NSW, wanting info about voting in Mornington Peninsula- no name given from caller but said doing a survey

I blocked this number after calls to me last Tuesday after wanting answers to voting in Mornington Peninsula. Guess they are calling from Get Up? I’d like to know since I had blocked this number how they have still has access to it. Totally fed up with the many calls in last few weeks from many similar numbers about Federal election. Never seen this before an election and is a total disgrace being still able to call blocked numbers. Told the caller I had blocked number last week and he wasn’t able to tell me why they could still call it. Guess Get Up getting desperate and somehow getting access to blocked numbers.
I’d like to know how this is possible.
