They call home phone, they call mobile have tried adding to block list but they call on a private number constantly if I answer its silence to then they hang up...

No number no answer.Private number no answer. It pisses the local hospital off as no one answers them. Annoys the crap out of CentreLink as no one answers. Annoys the heck out of me as I wont answer, and some times it's a legitimate call I have been waiting on. You tell the callers you want them to make their number known but they don't and so they don't get through to you. A N Z bank for example. Sounds to me that the day's of the phone are nearing an end with no one answering them. Guess I will have to join the birds and Twitter.

I received a call from this number and got a little concerned when they wanted to know what brands and how many TV's and other equipment I have in my house. With the way people try to scam you these days it's hard to know what to say in case they are not genuine.

Calling everyday

They rang today at 6:53 PM , didn't say anything then they hung up in 2 seconds.

Do you have any idea how frightening it is for someone living on their own to receive a call like that from a total stranger basically (a) scoping out what they have in their home of value worth stealing and (b) how many people live there? Get an idea of how vulnerable that makes people feel. I was horrified after my phone call.

Whoever they are... I didn't answer my phone... ( they called on my landline) My friends and family call me on my mobile.. anyway the time of call was 8.15pm....That is so wrong to call people at that time of night!

The Do Not Call register only applies to companies that are trying to sell something. Not for Profit organisations and market research companies can still legally call you even if you are on the Do Not Call register, so complaining to them will do nothing.
