Appears to be a pest. Rang first on my mobile, leaving no message, then rang promptly on landline, again leaving no message, but a warm body seemed to be involved since there was the physical clunk of a receiver being put down.

I called back the number (02) 9234 8111 and reached vm that said I reached ING Australia

In 2018.. I get a call from this number saying its the ANZ Bank wanting to talk to me about a cheque they posted me in 2013. ITS A SCAM. Just hang up.

After a few more attempts (see previous comment), they left a message and it turned out to be some genuine customer service from ANZ Bank's superannuation division. The message required ringing back on a 1300 number, negotiating a couple of number-choice menus and quoting a reference number, so I guess they were working on the basis that it was better, first off, to try to make direct contact. It did not appear to involve anyone in an overseas call centre.

Some bitch called it's clearly coming from overseas won't take no for an answer gets aggressive with me but when told I know it's a scam and I reported then to the police she hung up ever so quickly
