These cretin pests phoned me 33 times in the past two weeks, despite having the number blocked on my phone. Emailed them (Global Shop Direct gsd @ globalshopdirect.com.au) to remove my number immediately or complaints will be lodged with QLD Office of Fair Trading (http://www.fairtrading.qld.gov.au/home) and the TIO (https://www.tio.com.au)

I bought a product from Global Shop Direct in July 2014 and to do so you chat with them over the phone, etc. On their emailed invoice they also have an interesting (and ironic) statement about respecting privacy:

"Global Shop Direct follows the Australian Privacy Principles, and Principle 7 "Direct Marketing" specifically applies. Your contact details may be used to tell you about special offers and other products from Global Shop Direct and other selected companies. I cant get a returns address, have called several times with no answer and emailed the same. do you what address

After numerous attempts to your call centre I am still bewildered as to the unit Number for delivery you have and where they received it from. our unit No is 32, not 27. I am so annoyed that I have Paid for my goods, yet nobody cares (in the call centre) or can inform me as to when I can expect it. The call centre is most inactive as far as delivery dates are concerned. I had a business with a large staff, and if I could not give a delivery date that was on target with my customer's schedule then they would cancel the contract. I doubt if I will ever use Global Shop Direct after this fiasco. Coli Smith.

I recently purchase the offer for geniejeggings, they were to short. I sent them back for a refund, but they are saying they haven't received them, so lm out of pocket 70dollars, have contacted them by phone haven't received a call or emails from them, thinking of taking it further.

I went to the ACCC, no more calls :)

Global Shop Direct. I've bought several products from them. No response when you answer the call - maybe checking your phone number is accurate if you've ordered from them, or some call centre running up calls to appear to meet targets. Don't bother ringing back.

had the same thing. from global shop direct, offering me as a loyal customer, 80% discount on all products, plus free postage. too good to be true.

Rang me whilst at work. Answered it and hung up on me. I rang back the number and it says, "Global Shop Direct" - the one on TV adverts!

Called me at 230am!!! And when I tried calling back got the other end of a call centre!!!

I answered they hung up after 6 seconds and there was no answer. I rang back and apparently the number is 'not connected' just sick of these calls
