Getting daily calls from 9188 2361, 9188 2362, 9188 2363, 9188 2364. When called back, the voicemail says it is a company (MonDial) that works with charities, and directs to a website - mondialfundraising.com.au.

Charities are exempt from the Do Not Call Register - I have written to MonDial telling them I do not answer calls from these numbers, and I refuse to donate to any charity that calls my home or mobile.

I made a donation to charity before 30/6/2015, to the Cancer Council of NSW. Since then, on 8 occasions I have received calls from this MonDial fund raising group. I have done a bit of research. They always use a different number to call me, for example, their number began with (02) 9188 2360, then only the last four digits changed: 2361, 2362, 2363. 2364, 2365, 2366 and tonight on 2367. They also ring any time during the day and after 6pm. I barred all the numbers on my mobile up to 2370. I was thinking of contacting them via their website requesting them to remove my details and stop ringing. Annoying is an understatement, as I'm sure their aim is to solicit you to make more regular donations and to more of their other charities. Their website is after more people to join their call centres. I wonder how much do MonDial receive as a payment to rise money on behalf of charities?

Continually calling. So annoying. I will not give to charities where the whole donation does not go to the charity but goes to pay call centres or who waste money sending stupid address labels and other unwanted so-called gifts in the mail.

Clare05, if you make a donation to a charity, they add your number to Mondial. Anytime you give someone your number, you become fair game for charities who buy lists - same with email addresses. Another one to watch out for is 90034381 - a group collecting donations for PYC (Police Youth Club)

Called me at 5.00 pm, said "May I speak to Monica", I answered "here it is", and he told me "Leave your home." Then the phone was hung up. I had called back and only got a strange dial tone never heard before.
Nothing happened after that. How did he managed to know both my number and my name?

MonDail fundraising represent several charities and collect on their behalf. Not sure that they are a not-for-profit organisation but they work for nfp companies.
They list several charity partners, so if you have donated recently to any of the companies they have partnered with you will more than likely receive several calls.
As Rich In Sydney said, they call from several different numbers, I have had them call from 2 different numbers so far, (02) 9188 2360 & (02) 9188 2361.
After reading his comment I have added the other numbers to my blocked list.

The thing about a charity is that when you have enough funds or time to donate you will so they shouldn't be chasing the money. I think it is sad that they feel they should harass you after you have made a donation.
