Claimed to be from NBN, a survey to count mobile telephones we had, that might be operating from local telephone towers. She denied it was a sales ploy.

claim to be from trikon, went to the website and cant find that number on their webpage.

Just continue to block these numbers
And never answer " private" callers .
They soon get the message

Claimed to be "calling on behalf of the NBN" advising us of our Telstra accounts....... Issue is, we have no Telstra accounts and have not for many years.
The thing is, I am actually an authorised NBN Business Advisor, certificate and all! I am fully aware they do not make outbound calls or have any retail representatives, it is against their charter. As i mentioned to her she is pro-porting to be someone she isnt, HUNG UP....... beep beep beep

Australian accent, has rung several times saying from Optus. Today she said she was from Telstra.

claimed to be from NBN, wanted to know how many business mobiles and landlines we had at the business. said she'd send out a progress report to us regarding the roll out of the NBN in the area.

Australian accent claimed to be from Optus. had the same person call me regarding mobile phones a week before hand claiming to be from the ombudsman office.
