Caller: I received a telephone call from (02) 9135 3740

I receive a telephone call from (02) 9135 3740. Unfortunately, I did not get to the phone in time. As such, I telephoned them back 30 seconds later. The person, who answered the telephone, was of an India background, Personally, I think that the actual call was being re-routed somehow from India. In other words, it definitely sound like a very long distance call. When I telephoned (02) 9135 3740, I said: "You called me 30 seconds ago, I'm returning your call." They responded: "What is your telephone number?" I responded: "I'm not telling you my telephone number ... you called me 30 seconds ago ... why were you calling me?" They responded: "What is your telephone number?" As such, I responded: "If you called me 30 seconds ago and you do not know "why" you were calling me .... then this is probably a scam ... Bye." It would seem that they are "blanket calling" vast numbers of people, and subsequently, they needed my telephone number in order to try and identify me (on their database). If a person telephones me, and if I telephone them back within 30 seconds, and if they cannot tell me "why" they are calling, then there is something seriously wrong about this scenario. Please be careful. P.

Caller: Scam

Scammer pretended they are from Milton Graham a debt collector. Call me many time and switch off after one ring. Left message asking to call back and quote reference number. When I called them, they claimed to be Milton Graham and asked for my mobile number. I didn't give them my mobile. I blocked them but their calls still magically came through

Anonymous caller didn't identify themselves. didn't call back and wont. Not to be trusted.

Left a message claiming to be from Milton Graham. I don't owe any debts so I wont be returning the call.
