Caller: charity

Number belongs to a charity doing fund raising. (a fund raising call center that covers many charities & use different names when they get a contract)

Didn't get to answer this one in time, but this number seems to be in active use again as of May 2021. Not a number I recognize and making calls to the west coast from a supposedly NSW number. The history of complaints here since 2014 certainly isn't promising.

Scam caller, blocked the c*nts. No doubt they'll call again under another number. It's about time something is done against these scammers.

Usual nuisance call - do not bother with the "do not call register" a complete waste of your time and taxpayer's money. Probably, Sir Tony sells the list to these morons.

Had several missed calls over a few days from this number. Last one I answered and they said they were from the government enquiring about my solar panels. Told them I lived in rented premises. They promptly hung up.

This number repeatedly calls, sometimes twice a day at regular times. It has been doing so for over a week and hangs up now that I let it go to answer machine. At first it just hung on when I kept saying 'hallo', no one has spoken. I am getting very sick of this.

Scammers

Unrecognised number from interstate, no message left. If (big if) it's a legitimate charity, I'm sorry but I do not give money to ANYONE who randomly calls me. Another number to block.

Don't get aggressive. Just block them.

More than likely a scam call. Didn't answer and no message left. The usual scenario.

Three times in a week Solar Assessment Team phoned. No, the first time should be enough. I have been told that if you are interested in solar panel then they sell your interest to Australian companies that contact you. As they are wasting my time the next time I might tell them that I am interested in solar panels. Then wait for the Australian companies to contact me. Get them to give me a quote and waste their time in coming out. I am retied so I have all the time in the world. Hmm I will see.

Came up on phone as Overseas 161291192575. We usually hang up when these calls come in. Bound to be a scam. Had dozens of similar calls re Solar Power. Agree with another comment re "Do not call", that the government probably sells these numbers to the Delhi Call Centres.

I get the overseas number. Do Not Call does not work if they are not registered. Usually ring 2 to 3 times a day, around 5 or 6 pm. Most annoying but just let it ring out as they hang up anyway when answer machine kicks in.

SPAM Number. Also appears as 1 61 2 9119 2575. When you see this number just let it go to answer or do a quick "on / off" with the phone.

These people are a total pain in the Neck. The 'Do Not Call Register' doesn't seem to work with this mob

Caller said he represented the Australian Government doing a survey on solar energy.
A complete pain in the neck.
