I received the missed calls for 6 straight business days, ignoring them after i checked here. Finally answered and got the 3 second silent delay before a girl asked for me by name. Said nothing, i just hung up.

That was two weeks ago....nothing since. useful tactic?

I dont have a commonwealth bank account, but for some reason I am getting these calls at my work number.. No one on the other end, they just hang up!If I get any more calls, I will just hang up on them!

I've been getting calls for the past week around 11am to 1pm on my mobile.
Most of them I've missed, but on the two occasions I've picked up the phone in time there has been silence, the type you expect before someone comes on the line in a call centre so I hung the hell up.

I received a call from (02) 9112 5723 o0n my unlisted work mobile. A message was left, so my phone aid. I retrieved the message. All I heard was a lot of laboured breathing and "a male - likely in mid 20's said: "Yes, Hello? Hello? [More frantically] Hello? There was what appeared ot be office noise / radio/Tv in the background. Then the called hung up.
I called hte number, thinking it was one om children in trouble. I was connected to a message that said: "You have been contacted by a Hosted Contact Centre Service and may be contacted again in the future" Then it hung up.
Is this a scam? I do not know until I get my next bill. If I see they have charged me money, then I will be complaining, because they tricked me into returning a call based on a fragmentary phone call, from a distressed sounding person.
I have not believed in the death penalty; but for these bastards, I would gladly do it myself with a length of piano wire.

I have had this number call me a few times - i haven't been answering because i don't know the number - so i googled it. I'm glad i did cause if it is a scam i know i've been doing the right thing

This number calls me everyday at least 2 times a day, never leaves a message. I was losing it. Thankfully found this page and called the 1300 131 103 number for comminsure. Told the guy to get my number off their list, he wanted all of my personal details which I refused and told him to just get my number removed!!! He hastily agreed (probably because of my tone). Claimed it would take 24 to 48 hours. It better stop.
