Scam. Said they were calling about a motor vehicle accident I had had. Scum bags!

Just received their call, Told me they were from a legal firm calling in regards to damage my car did from a motor vehicle accident some time ago, When I asked what type of car did I own he said a Toyota and I said I had never owned a Toyota, he hung up real quick, He knew my wife and me by name

Bunch of very rude scammers. Played along until the guy eventually flipped and started swearing at me calling me every name under the sun. Hung up, rude bastard.

Cold call saying i was involved in an accident and extorting personal details. Wouldn't give me an ABN, or who they got my number from, and started abusing me with very very offensive language. there is also a lot of background noise, with obviously a call centre with other people there doing exactly the same thing - cold calling then abusing people. After hanging up, called again and again. British accent. Please whoever is controlling this number - DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! this is just terrible.

Was rung by someone calling himself Lee. London accent. Regarding an accident I had not had. Hung up when I asked where he was calling from.

This number has been calling me several times a day over the last 3 days. I've just ended up blocking the number after reading all these comments. Have no interest in these sort of calls

Rang on my mobile number and knew my name.
Identified as 'First Care' working in partnership with NRMA, RACQ etc.
Told me I'd reported damage to my motor vehicle and hung up on me when I asked to whom I had reported the damage.

they hang up if you say 'you have called a police officers private number'.

I've just let it ring out each time, thanks for your advice, I will block it.

Have had a call from these guys about 10 or so times, so I decided to answer after I'd read these comments... thought I'd have a little fun with it! Played along, asked them to send me a cheque with my $10,000 that I'm apparently entitled to, he then put me on hold, someone else answered and told me I'm a "d&*^#bag" then hung up. Sounded Northern English.

I told them I was in an accident, with 15 people in a VW beetle, when they asked me how I got 15 people into a VW beetle, I said it was a clown car & hung up

In 6 days I've had 3 missed calls and 2 answered calls. When I answer it, I simply hear a beep and that's it. After this second call I simply placed them on my block list.
