I've got my calls and I f*cked up pretty bad with these guys. within a span of 2 weeks, these people switch me between 3 different energy suppliers 4 times. They calls me on my mobile in a very busy time at the office for marketing and to avoid lengthy calls, I told them to send details in post for me to make a decision before making any switch. Instead, they've done the switch already and send the details.

so I've learned my lessons. Now I'm using a app called "True caller". It gives you a heads up about who's calling, name, Teco service provider, if some people have already marked them as spam, how many people have blocked calls from this number etc... Better yet, you can use this app to block any calls from these folks. You can use it in any android or iPhones. The name appeared for this number was "Bank didn't catch", Telco service provider as "AAPT Ltd".

I got the impression that this was a scam when the operator started telling me to go and F^&* myself when she realized I was just toying with her.

got a call at 7am in the morning. wife just got out from hospital the day before I dont think the telemarketer liked the few choice words i rattled off

Woman from Mortgage Compare. Told them I was renting and she hung up on me.

Yep Scammer. Told me I had a mortgage. hung up when I said I was not interested. My concern is where did they get my mobile number. I usually make a point of not having it anywhere online.

Spam for sure. I got a heavy distant accent perhaps Indian or Phillipines and was very "dodgy" sounding..
It said:-
"The number you have dialled is not in service, please check the number and try again. Good bai"

They call and hang up first - think they call to get your name from your message bank greeting and then they call saying your name.
When they say Hi its ***** from Mortgage Compare I just say "my mortgage is fine thanks how is yours" and they hang up - block them or play with them if you have time - it is fun :-)

I don't know how these people got my name, but I'm calling the police...

I have received 2 calls from this number in the last 4 days. The first caller advised that she had received my number from the phone book, I tried to explain my mobile was not listed in the phone book but she was quite definite about this. The 2nd call I received was this afternoon. The indian lady asked how I was today, when I answered I don't think you really care how I feel, her comment was I don't care for your attitude and then hung up. I tried to call her back, however the number is listed as disconnected, so I don't know how this works......................

They called me and a woman with Indian accent asked me whether I was (my full name) and said she was calling from 'Mortgage Compare'. When I said that I had no interest in a mortgage but wanted to know where she got my full name, she started making up lies about their marketing department finding me listed publicly as a person with a mortgage (I've never had one). When I told her this she said that maybe there was another person with my name (I have a very unique name) and when I said no that is impossible, she hung up. Tried to call them back on (02) 9095 6911 and the number was "disconnected".

Dodgy scammers. They kept asking questions about my mortgage and when I kept questioning and challenging them, they got angry and hung up on me.
