Sounds like it's Citibank calling on behalf of Bank of Queensland. I used to work for BOQ for five years as a teller (I am no longer employed by BOQ, nor do I speak on their behalf in any way). You would occasionally get called by Citibank to be upsold credit limit upgrades, new products, etc. It's not technically 'spam', but it's unsolicited. If you really don't want call anymore from them, my advice would be to contact Citibank (ask your local BOQ branch for their Credit Card contact centre phone number) and see if they can opt you out of receiving marketing messages. Not sure if it'll work, but that would be what I would try. Hope this helps. I just missed a call from them, which I'm just going to ignore.

This is 100% a scam. I called the BOQ and they verified that no one had called me from the bank as there were no notes on file about it.

Call routinely offering deals "on behalf of Bank of Queensland". My understanding is they are contractors for Citibank who does the financial products for BOQ. Trying to sell additional insurances etc

This is a scam. State from BOQ but overseas company looking for information to use your credit card. Do NOT give them any information. I just like to play with them to waste their time.

Had a call from this number and after ignoring it, they did not leave a voicemail. As a BOQ customer I would have thought they would have left a message for me to call back

They say "Calling 'ON BEHALF OF' Bank Of Queensland", so they are NOT BOQ.

Called just now saying they were Bank of Queensland. I asked them to hold while I took another call and they had hung up when I got back to them.

Yeah, got one from this number.

From my understanding your bank/tax department/phone company won't call you. You have to call them.
Please don't give any info to this number even if they call you by name.
