Caller: Vodafone

Have called me 6 times in three days, when I answer there is no-one there and then hangs up. Have received calls from them before and they are from the Vodafone call centre outside of Australia and trying to upsell plans. What I didn't like previously was that they wanted my PIN when they were calling me to confirm I was the account holder, and when I wouldn't give them that, they wanted my drivers license details to verify I was the account owner. They did send a code to confirm it was Vodafone, but the overall practice seems dodgy. Have blocked them for now, nothing more annoying then answering the call, for there to be silence and then hung up on.

Called 8 times in 3 days just won't give up; never left a message (if it's that important). An absolute pest.

Fake. Dont believe in comments that state this is a legit call. The callers use these websites to get you to trust and pick up. They are scammers. Not vodafone.

3 calls from this number in one day. Decided to answer the 3rd call and someone from the sub-continent stated they were from Vodafone, were now providing NBN and could do a better deal on Internet.
I told him if he was really from Vodafone he'd know I'm not the account holder for the account my phone is attached to, and he therefore would be ringing th account holder, not me.
Absolutely a scam

They're calling me 3 times a day. Answered and there is a delay. If it's an issue with my account I'm sure Vodaphone would email. Otherwise I blocked them.

If this is Vodafone - then very bad practice to ask for pin over the phone particularly as they are initiating the call and a very unprofessional way to operate. Also to keep calling even though I said I would call into a local store. Get your act together Vodafone !!!

Yes the number is listed on their website and yes you get a text saying it is them but NO WAY should they ask for your PIN.
The person says they are calling to ask if you are happy with your plan - that's a yes or no answer, not one that requires you to give your PIN.

Definetly a scam, big delay in answering, straight away asked for my pin and account number, and wanted me to change my plan so I could have free stuff which is unreal because "i have this amazing deal that you dont have to pay next month" when my plan ends in 2 months lmao, so why would I want to upgrade or downgrade my plan?? he was very rude , spoke very fast and wouldnt let me speak unless he stopped talking, when I said no thanks, he pushed me and said "im not forcing you BUT this is a great deal and you should take it" etc etc.. and kept on repeating himself, when I said no again, he repeated himself demanding my number and pin which I said no thank you Ill go into the store myself. then he went silent and asked me to do it over the phone or website as itll be easier and I said, no I dont mind going into the store myself, then he proceeded to harrass me AGAIN about "not trying to force you BUT" etc etc, very pushy and unprofessional. I think it's a scam! PLUS if you read the text it sends you the name is AUVODAFONE not AUVodafone, if it was real, it would send a text under the previous texts I get for paying my bills... so it's a scam
