I've been missing calls from this number for a few weeks. I had previously googled the number & it seemed like a scam. This morning I answered, the young guy on the other end told me he was calling from Amnesty International (who I've donated to in the past). He was very polite, using my name a lot, talking about the current disasters in the world, etc. Then he asked for me to become a member & give my bank details. I told him I wouldn't do that over the phone & I was happy to donate via the website. He then quoted my address to persuade me that they already had my details & a phone payment was safe. I eventually convinced him that it wasn't going to happen for me. Must be a scam.

Yep, they're been calling me every second day, and even on weekends for most of the month. When I answer I get no one on the other end. When I call back it's voice mail. Left a message twice too telling them to stop calling me.
I've just put in a complaint with ACMA and will be speaking to my phone company on Monday about trying to block the number.
I've never donated to UNICEF, and because of this little trick I never will.

I'm getting calls every single day except Sunday's and have been getting them for the past 2 and a half weeks. I don't donate to UNICEF but I do monthly donations to the Cancer Council. They never leave a message. I may try to call and find out why they call every day and how they got my number

I keep getting missed calls from this number and am sick of it - they never leave a voicemail message and I won't return their call if they don't leave a message. I don't donate to UNICEF, I donate regularly to RSPCA.

Calls every day when I'm unable to answer, suspected it was some kind of telemarketing or fundraising scheme..never leaves a message.
