Calls weekly to my mobile and silent home number, but no one is ever on the other end. Weird and frustrating

going on the do not call register won't work, charities are exempt from this. The way to get them to stop ringing is by saying "please remove me from all of your lists" after they've mentioned who they're calling from. Also going online to donate means that your money won't go to what they're telling you it's going to. E.g., if the Cerebral Palsy Alliance is calling and telling you your donation is going to equipment for children, it's going to that, no admin costs or anything. Going online just donates to the charity which can be used to pay for anything, including telephone fundraising (unless you're buying a goat from Oxfam or something) Also bonuses or commission pay come from he fundraising agency, not the charity iself.
Also don't be d*cks and just realise that they're doing they're job so that charities can get money/awareness. They're giving people an opportunity to do some good in the world.
Also if they ask for the numbers on the back of the card, don't give it to them. If they don't ask, it's not a scam.

They call me at least once a day and have done for over two weeks. very frustrating, I don't donate to anything, no idea how they got my details.
Is there someone we can report them to?

This number has called me every day for 2 weeks, I've answered the call 3 times and no one has responded. It's getting frustrating.

I've had six missed calls in the past week, which is most annoying. The phone rang this morning and I tried to answer quickly so I can ask to be taken off the register but they hung up after three rings! I've tried calling them back and searched their website so I can get off the list but no luck so far. Whatever charity is using them, I'm going to cancel my support.

I have just called Mondial Fundraising on the number (02) 8001 3001 and the very helpful chap advised that my number would be added to their do not call list - fingers crossed I won't recieve the daily missed calls any more!

I had have a number of missed calls on a daily basis from this number but no voice messages left. Today I picked up the call but could not hear a thing on the other line. When I googled this out of frustration now I know I have to block this number and most of the unknown numbers that usually do not leave a message!

FYI the 'Do Not Call' register doesn't include charities so please be aware of this. This number is used by several different groups who outsource call centre labor.

I get calls from either this number or (02) 8188 6946 every bloody day,the first time they called me was last year at 6.30am on a Sunday morning. Is there any way to stop them?

P.S., it's not a scam, the people in the call centre work for money and sometimes commissions, but if you donate through the website they don't get this. So if you say you'd rather donate online they will be resistant not because they're phishing but because they don't get recognised for it. However, it does mean some of your charity donation goes to the fundraising company (not the same company as the charity). So I recommend ignoring them and donating online if you believe it's a worthy cause.

Several calls over the last 3 months. I refuse to answer or reply if they won't leave a message. If they did and explained what they want I can make a decision.

I have received 2 calls in the last 2 days from this number. I missed (ignored) both of them. I tried calling them back and I got a pre-recorded message stating it was a charitable organisation that was contacting people in the hope that they will agree to donate. I've never given them my number, therefore they are randomly calling numbers.

Calls have been going on for months, first thing in the morning, middle of the day, at night, on weekends, they won't leave me alone and it's getting quite annoying.

Yes twice during the day and again between 5pm - 7pm. I run a small business not a charity and this trolling for money has closed my wallet for good.
