peeved

This number and anotehr number which I will add again are calling me daily for about a month now...I don't answer it as I have caller ID and because I am a silent number, i do wonder how they got my number. Every day it happens at about 4pm or 6pm. very rude and intrusive

I better add, I didn't listen to the whole message so at the end they might have asked me to sign up for life insurance :D which means that these calls are from a group that steals contact details and ruthlessly tries to sign us up for scams.

...though probably not.

Hi to all.I too have been having the same problem with this number over the past 2 weeks. Today when I answered the call I was connected. The caller was a very hard to understand (Indian accent) female voice, so here is the mystery solved. Yes it is telemarketing & it was from the Commonwealth Bank Comminsure section in regards to a letter sent to me about accident insurance. Did you all get the same letter from the CBA???

These buggers keep calling me too, when i ring them its engaged, when i answer it rings at their end but then disconnects.  I haven't had the pleasure of speaking to anyone yet. I also have nothing to do with the CBA

I have been receiving calls from this number every day for the past two weeks, most of the time i don't answer it but sometimes I do to try and get them to stop. They are posing as ING insurance. Apparently they sent some information out to me and wanted to discuss it??? Yeah right...
I added myself to the do not call register https://www.donotcall.gov.au/
Hopefully they will get the message!!!!

Curious

I've been getting heaps of calls from this number. They've always hung up when I've answered except today.

It was greenpeace thanking me for my ongoing donations and saying my credit card had expired and could I please provide the new expiry date. They correctly gave me the last four digits of my card, so I told them the expiry.

But then I thought it was strange as my card had not expired since 2007 and is valid through til 2009.

Hope this is not a scam.

Tried to call greenpeace to check but lines are closed. Called back the (02) 9005 1200 number but of course it is always engaged.

Alerted bank instead.
